I was born july 8th, 1985. I grew up in Paris, then went to Lebanon when I was 11 with my mother and stepfather who had an urban-planning mission there. We stayed in Beirut for 5 years, and I came back to Paris to finish high school while my family went to Cambodia. After I graduated (2003), I was accepted in l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and stayed there for 2 years. I realized I had a great interest in photography, and this caused me to return to Paris for better opportunities. In 2006, I went to the CPE labor protests, I took some of my best shots there and this revealed my skill for taking photos in stressful situations. Right after these events, I applied to a big national art school, l'Ecole nationale des Arts Decoratifs, where I was accepted directly into 2nd year (I had an equivalence thanks to my first school). I'm in my 3rd year today, and I'm working on several projects, photography-wise and video-wise.

 

Je suis née le 8 juillet 1985. J'ai passé ma petite enfance à Paris, pour ensuite partir au Liban à 11 ans, où j'ai vécu 5 ans. Je suis ensuite rentrée à Paris pour mes deux dernières années de lycée, tandis que ma famille partait au Cambodge. Après le Bac, j'ai été acceptée aux Beaux-arts de Bordeaux. Je suis restée là-bas 2 ans, 2 ans qui m'ont fait réaliser ma passion pour la photographie. Je suis revenue à Paris en 2005 pour essayer de trouver ma place dans ce monde, et en 2006 j'ai suivi les manifestations anti-CPE, pendant lesquelles j'ai pris quelques unes de mes meilleures photos. J'ai compris alors que j'avais un goût prononcé pour les situations stressantes. Juste après ces évènements, j'ai présenté un dossier pour rentrer aux Arts décoratifs de Paris, où j'ai été acceptée en 2ème année (en équivalence). Aujourd'hui, je suis en 3ème année et je travaille sur différents projets, autant vidéo que photo.
